The acquisition brings technology designed for real estate professionals to Syngrafii iinked Sign™, Video Signing Room™, and iinked Seal™ platform to drive growth in the global real estate sector e-signature market

 

TORONTO — November 17^th, 2022 — Syngrafii Inc. (Syngrafii), a global e-signature company that provides the most comprehensive range of compliant remote-signing solutions, announced today that it has acquired all the software source code and trademarks of Velocity E-Sign Inc. and LIVEsign™ for an undisclosed amount.

 

The acquisition of Velocity, a remote signing platform specifically designed for Canadian real estate professionals, will drive further adoption of Syngrafii’s cloud-based iinked Sign™, Video Signing Room™ (VSR), and iinked Seal™ platform within the global real estate, mortgage, and conveyance sectors.

 

Syngrafii is the only integrated e-signature and video signing platform that allows for the execution of original, one-time-use biometric ink signatures onto electronic documents. Its product suite, which includes the LongPen® technology, ensures full compliance and non-repudiation by providing single-use signatures that preserve biometric data providing enhanced security, identity certainty, and specific intent.

 

The Proptech technology developed by Velocity, which is a Whitby 1855 accelerating company member, enables real estate agents to better connect with WebForms and request signatures in a secure cloud environment. The acquisition represents another milestone in the further expansion of Syngrafii’s iinked Sign™ platform into the global remote signing market.

 

Under the terms of the agreement Velocity’s CEO, Timothy Fennessey will join Syngrafii’s management to head its real estate sector sales and marketing team.
